liam howlett is amazing!! this album is perfect. every tune is a rave classic. unlike their more punk attentive outings on fat of the land, music for jilted gen. this album really delivers energy and power. you almost feel every bit of the album. i love wind itt up and the original your love, wonder why that one never made it to the master album. i listen to this album all the time, especially drivin in the hot florida sun. ok, now the tunes may sound outdated, but they are really pioneering in drumnbass without even realizing. AMAZING ALBUM!!!

    not there best

this album (the first of the bands) is not what you call modern. its sound distinctive early 90s but past all that is an album worth listening to consisting of such classic prodigy tunes such as jericho, charlie it proves to knock out some good drums and has the ability to impress. and as a first album its simply stunning and the guys should give credit to themselves. go buy!

    It'll always be a classic...

As the last guy said, it sounds a bit dated, but what can u expect from an album that was made 9 years ago.
"Experience" will never (and I mean NEVER) go out of style. It's played at least once at every party i've been to in the last 5 years. With absolute stompers like "Everybody in the Place" and "Out of Space" how could it just fizzle away? I love that CD (I really do) and in it's genre of Hardcore Techno/Breakbeat there's no alternative, it's still the most widely influential and bangin' album out there to date. It's only beaten by "...Jilted Generation" by the slimest of margins.
Hats off to Mr.Howlett for his unfaultering dedication in the line of duty. Nice one for the tunes man. ;)

    dated.

in 1992, the prodigy were something like a revolution and bombed the UK- charts with some of the coolest dance- tracks ever made like "charly" or "out of space" (sadly, the classic 7"- version is not included on the album), but if you listen to it in 2000, the prodigy' s first album sounds pretty dated which is no surprise if you regard all the electronic killer- albums which should follow, like massive' s "mezzanine" or their own "music for the jilted generation".

    Still Listened too

I've had this album for years and still listen to it loads. You can't help moving to some of the classics like "out of space", "ruff in the jungle" and "wind it up". Great album second only to Music for the Jilted Generation.

    Second best Prodigy album ever!

By Yahoo! Shopping User  Mar 9, 2000

Yep, this album is the business allright. A non-stop adrenalin rush from start to finish, this album mixes cool keyboard riffs with mad samples and some of the best break beats ever created by mankind (Jericho is one of my favourite tracks ever). Great to dance to, but also makes supprisingly good listening also. However, it lacks the dark atmospherics and sophisticated industrial sound of Jilted Generation, which, in my opinion, puts it beneath.

This is the best prodigy album ever.

The Experience is Prodigy's best album. It's experimental sounds make it different from all the others. This album is perfect for ravers and hardcore techno fans to listen to, from beginning to end. If you are a true Prodigy fan you can't go without it. Go and pick this album up. You won't regret it.
