Ikon is a 1990s goth-rock band from Australia influenced primarily by British proto-goths like Joy Division and Faith-era Cure. The band's recordings include the LPs Flowers for the Gathering and 1997's A Moment in Time. Three more releases followed in the late '90s; Subversion and This Quiet Earth in 1998 and Got A Message in 1999. On the Edge of Forever was issued early 2001.
