    Pros: durability and Think Vantage

    Cons: stock processor was a little slow, til the upgrade

    Love my T61 ThinkPad. Its cool, clean, smart, easy, durable, responsive, all of the above. It was made for me. I'll stay in the family. I believe in IBM.

    Pros: durability and think vantage

    Cons: stock processor was a little slow til the upgrade

    If this is like all the other Lenovo laptops, it will be sooooo full of 'bloatware' it will take 10 to 20 minutes to boot up and be usable. Then one will spin an extrordinary amount of time clicking 'OK'

    Forget Lenovo - buy your discounted PC at BestBuy/Costco or similar store

    Pros: reputation!

    Cons: quality and service

    I bought my PC five months ago and has gone three times back to Lenovo to be repaired! What is worth is that not all the problems have not been solved - I paid $1600 and have had tpo send it back three times already - the fan died and there is a prob...lem with a key that makes the cursor either stuck the page at the bottom/top or start typing backwards - it sounds crazy and though true, Lenovo service still has been unable to solve it - my advice, bu ya PC at bestbuys or one of teh discount places, spend $500 and you will have as good a product without the problems of having to put your school work on halt because you have to send it it AGAIN for service - ooops, the pc continue having some important porblems - it keeps typind bacjwards until you hit a particular key!     Pros: Plays DVDs

    Cons: Price/performance

    If this is like all the other Lenovo laptops, it will be sooooo full of 'bloatware' it will take 10 to 20 minutes to boot up and be usable. Then one will spin an extrordinary amount of time clicking 'OK' to the hundreds of little popu...p windows that are asking the user if they REALLY want this next program to run. Vista and Symantec will drive you crazy with questions. Save some money and get a Dell or Acer. Also, most Lenovos only have 1GB of RAM. Vista uses all that and more. Without a pagefile on the disk, it gets very slow. I saw a Dell the other day with 4GB of RAM with all the other bells and whistles for around $400. Good Luck! Read more Less

    Pros: cool, quiet, fast, the best keyboard, great building quality

    Cons: battery life is a little short, not a gaming graphics

    I have uesed this T61 for 3 months. Everything is great, the body is always cool. You can hardly hear noise from the fan. Vista made the speed slow :( But when I upgrade to 3G momery by myself for only 60 bucks, it is much better. Very good computer,... highly recommend! Read more Less
