A Film Everyone Should Not Missed

Pros: It speaks of what it takes to be an exemplary soldier.

Cons: It has a sad ending because the real hero died.

Eight men went to the battle and risk their lives for the sake of one. Their mission is to save Private Ryan. The first 10-15 minutes scene of the film took my breath away. Seeing the american soldiers died helplessly on the beach really created a d...eep impact on me. I can hardly look at some men groaning, crying and shouting in pain. The water turned to blood. It's really tragic.I'm sure those who have seen it will agree with me. The film actually depicts how it takes to be an exemplary soldier that even up to the point of death, one should never give up until he finished his mission. The heroic actof the soldiers in the film is a thing that every soldier should follow. Of course the man behind this award winning film is also worthy of excellent rating. Congratulations Steven Spielberg! Guys, believe me... This is a film you shouldn't missed. Read more Less

Pros: ^_^Good

Cons: Kill the Nazi.

The first scene is very realistic, shame to those who werent given the chance to know the realities of war. The movies expresses emotion, shed tears, share funny moments with heard laughs, and brutal death for people who dont deserve it, and men acti...ng pawns for total control. The only problem in this movie is, the first part was amazing- it made me feel i was one of the soldiers, but the next parts were stiff and quite unimportant. I would like to see more painful stuff than making small talks inside the office. The mission is quite impossible but, acceptable because losing 3 members really sends grief and shock to the family. What i liked most is the part where Wade died, everyone was overlapping each other to get their hands on the Nazi soldier and just like, ready to pull everything out from their stomach. I just wished the Nazi was buried on the spot where he dug up a hole. Overall, Steven Spielberg is really deserving to have the Best Director award, Tom Hanks, Tom Sizemore and Edward Burns are good actors, good plot, that makes Saving Private Ryan a good movie. Recommend it for those who need a little shake-up with reality that greediness of power kills men (Hitler?). And I learned a word- fubar. I guess everything here on earth is fubar.
