    Pros: Takes you back to your younger years, makes you understand teen life, almost like it was way back then

    Cons: happy ending, but wish there was more movies to follow ...

    This movie reminds me how I used to dress, act, and look. I really take myself back while watching this movie...and really makes you know what the 80's was all about. I feel this is one of my most favorite movies...especially with Nicolas Cage ...in it. I'm a real big Nicolas Cage Fan!! Read more Less

    Nicholas Cage is so sweet yet gawky, as we all remember being when we had the special high school crush. The soundtrack is perfect in that it totally represents the era of punk and heel socks! This is the ultimate 80's movie ever!!!

    This is the film that sparked Cage's career, and Debbie Forman is the ULTIMATE hottie! Of course, the film's soundtrack features some of the best tune from the era: Men at Work, The Police, and of course (my all time favorite 80s song) the Title Tra...ck: Melt With You by Modern English. Valley Girl is a cult classic in every sense of the words. Get it, and you WON'T be disappointed! Apparently, there IS a couple of soundtrack albums out there to be had, although Rhino Records didn't release anything at the time the film came out.
